Design Inspiration: Deer
There is something heart warming about deer! This fall, while in Muskoka we saw many deer. They would come up close while carefully watching your every move with their large eyes. Every time they managed to catch our attention. That is why I’m loving the deer trend this holiday season, every item grabs your attention!

You are a great sewer Laura and I know that this pillow cover would not be to hard for you to reproduce with a little grey flannel, some double sided interfacing (the kind you iron onto what you want to sew on top of your pillow cover) and Christmas style fabric and Voila!

Thanks Mrs. P. I hadn’t thought of doing that, but it wouldn’t be to difficult would it?!
Great inspiration! Love the deer.

Totally agree with you, the are so elegant and intriguing! They are out in their masses in the parks here in London at the moment. The deer head hook is on my Christmas wishlist!
What a beautiful picture they must be in the parks!
That Pillow is so beautiful!!
I too love deer! I’ve never lived in an area where they run wild and my family isn’t into hunting so they seem very exotic to me. My husband and I were lucky enough to get up close and personal with wild deer in the Florida Keys, of all places. Key deer are a protected species on the very rural Big Pine Key. They would come right up to you, and steal your lunch if you looked away!
Charlotte it is amazing how tame they become when around humans! Thanks for sharing!
I’m mildly obsessed with deer accents. (My husband nicknamed me Bambi because I have big eyes ha.) I’ve been coveting that white wall decor version for months!
