Clay Eggs
Here is a tutorial on how to make the clay eggs that I had in my Spring Nest craft project.
You will need,
Aluminum foil
No bake clay (I used Sculpt-It which you can buy here)
Acrylic paints
A paint brush
And some craft varnish
Making the Egg
Step 1: Scrunch the aluminum foil into and egg shape.
Step 2, 3 & 4: Shape the clay around the aluminum foil egg and smooth it out as best as possible. Allow to dry over night.
Painting the Egg
Step 1: Paint the egg your desired colour. Allow to dry.
Step 2: If you would like, add speckles in a darker colour.
Step 3: Brush on the craft varnish all over the egg. This will add some shine to the egg. Set the egg aside to completely dry.
Once dry you can place them into your nest!
Happy Spring!

Why do you wrap clay around the aluminum foil vs. just shaping clay in shape of egg?
I find clay to be quite expensive, so I did it this way so that I could use the least possible amount of clay. Thanks for the great question!
