Spring Nest
With Sunday being the first day of spring I was in the mood for some spring crafting!
I had a whole bunch of small wreaths that I got for free at our local ReStore and I wanted to make them into something.
If you want to make one you will need, A small wreath (I think mine is made from a grapevine)
Dried Spanish moss
Thin cardboard
Mod Podge glue
Acrylic paint
Glue gun
Paint brush
And scissors
Step 1: Cut out of the cardboard a circle slightly smaller than your wreath.

Step 2: With your acrylic paint, paint the top of the cardboard circle and brush some onto your wreath. I used a colour that was close to the Spanish moss.
Step 3: On the back of the wreath, hot glue enough glue on so that it will stick to the cardboard circle.
Step 4: Glue the painted side of the cardboard to the wreath.
Step 5: Using a paint brush and Mod Podge glue paste your desired amount of Spanish moss on. Allow to dry.
And there you have it! A very simple yet beautiful nest to add some spring to your home!
On Friday I will share how I made the clay eggs!

Where were you when I couldn’t find a bird nest to buy and had to come up with my own version? Yours looks great, the little eggs are adorable too.
Adorable. Creative. Genius.
I am having a spring craft linky party and giveaway on my blog this Friday. I would love for you to showcase this wonderful project.
Details are on my blog today.
Thanks! I will definitely link it up!!
That’s so cute – I love little nests and with this one you could make it just the size you need for the number and size of eggs you have. Great idea.
